Description

The USDA FS intends to award a single-award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and first Call Order to meet Wellness Program requirements. The Government estimates, but does not guarantee, the volume of Call Orders through this will be no more than quarterly. Specific requirements and funds will be detailed and obligated at the Call Order level. USDA Forest Service seeks a contractor to provide primary preventive services as part of the Washington Office (WO) Wellness Program for approximately 700 employees located in the Washington metropolitan area.� About 70 employees participate each quarter for the health assessments and about 100 for the for the annual health fair. The primary objective of the WO Wellness Program is to institute a workplace wellness program which facilitates both voluntary individual and management adaptation of behavior that leads to improved health and heightened life satisfaction for individual employees within their family culture and thereby, over time, reduce management liability (illness and injury and the associated costs--direct and indirect).
