- The 375th Contracting Squadron (PKB-1) at Scott AFB, IL is contemplating an award for Congressional News Subscription at Scott AFB, IL. This is a commercial purchase using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and Part 13 procedures. The following information, as required per FAR 12.603(c)(2) applies: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government price and other factors considered. Evaluation of quotes will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.� For this acquisition, the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: - Technical Capability of the Service (60%) - Price (40%) (b) Options. The Government will evaluate offers for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement.
