- N0016420SNB23 � REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) � Evaluation, Overhaul,� Supplemental Repair, and Testing of Alternating Current (AC) Motors used in AN/SPS-49, SPS-48E, AN/SPS-67(V)3/5, AN/SPS-40, AN/SPQ-9B, AN/SPS-55A, and AN/SPS-55 Radar Antenna Systems. ��FSC: 6105��� NAICS: 811310 Issue Date:� 22 JAN 2020����� Closing Date:� 29 JAN 2020 � 4:00 PM EST The Government is issuing this RFI announcement as part of market research for AC Motors used in AN/SPS-49, SPS-48E, AN/SPS-67(V)3/5, AN/SPS-40, AN/SPQ-9B, AN/SPS-55A, and AN/SPS-55 Radar Antenna Systems.� This is NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS and no contract will be awarded from this RFI. Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Crane, IN, is seeking information from companies that have the capability and facilities to evaluate, overhaul, and test AC Motors. Interested businesses with the capability and facilities to provide this type of supply, as well as the experience/expertise, should submit a capability statement of no more than three (3) 8.5� x 11� pages (font no smaller than 10 point), excluding a cover sheet, in addition to the attached Market Research Questionnaire.� Responses to the RFI and attached Market Research Questionnaire must include the following: Contractor's Name Street Address, City, State, Zip Code Business Size Cage Code Point of Contact (POC) POC Telephone POC email address Announcement Number: N0016420SNB23 Please include the purpose/explanation of the response to the RFI, i.e. to better understand the Government requirements; to potentially become a viable option for a future requirement or etc. �The Government may contact RFI respondents to obtain clarification on the information submitted. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).� Respondents may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov.� The technical data package may contain information that is export controlled.� Only those companies that have completed DD Form 2345 and are certified under the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in an active status are authorized to receive export controlled information. Per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3 Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997): a) The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this solicitation or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. (b) Although ""proposal"" and ""offeror"" may be used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal.
