- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY.� This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations.� The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement.� The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following Remove existing sign and Manufacture and install one single face freestanding sign display for the Department of Veterans Affairs located in Boise, Idaho. Sign will be weather resistant (Water relief channel for proper drainage) and designed and constructed to conform with UL 48 Standard for Electric Signs. Allow for thermal movements from ambient and surface temperature changes 67 degrees C (120 degrees F) ambient and 100 degrees C (180 degrees F) material surfaces. Provide installed electrical components and sign installations bearing the label and certifications of Underwriter s Laboratories, Inc., and comply with NFPA 70 as well as applicable federal codes for installation techniques, fabrication methods and general product safety. Sign to measure approximately 9' tall and 7' 8"" wide with an 8 base. Remove existing post and panel sign. Return to VA for reuse. Top cabinet to measure approximately 2' x 7' 8"" with internal white LED lighting. Approx. 50 watts. Face to be white acrylic with black vinyl overlay reading ""Department of Veterans Affairs/VA"". VA logo shall be 10 � tall. U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs shall be 4 tall. Font shall be Helvetica Bold. The master art is available as an electronic file, for downloading, in the Technical Information Library. www.cfm.va.gov/til/ Electronic message center to be a full color 10mm LED with LED matrix of 108 x 216. (Or equal) Approx. wattage is 1825w. Communication to be via cellular modem and includes 4G cellular data plan for programming on display. The control package to program the Electronic Message Center (EMC) is a cloud-based program with secure web-based software that enables EMC management anytime, anywhere via internet connection. Provide 2 hours of training to set up and program the sign. The Estimated LED Lifetime: 100,000+ hours Bottom section cabinet to measure approximately 2' x 7 -8"" with internal white LED lighting. Approx. 50 watts. Face to be white acrylic polycarb with (7.0 to 8.0) mil black vinyl overlay reading ""Boise VA Medical Center"" ""500 W Fort St"" and ""Boise Regional Of ce"" ""444 W Fort St"". Letters shall be 2-3/4 tall and font shall be Helvetica Bold. Sheet shall be UV protected. Revel shall be bronze sheet metal Approx. 8-foot Base shall be 1/8 grey sheet metal or aluminum with light texcote texture. Aluminum Sheet and Plate: ASTM B209M (B209). Aluminum pole cover painted to match light Grey. Sign display to be installed on a single 5 x14 steel support pipe. The VA will provide 2 existing power circuits (120v 25A). The message board is programmed over the cellular connection. Warranty should be provided by local Boise company. The Non-Manufacturing Rule for SDVOSB/VOSB would apply for this requirement.
