- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), NCO 21- is requesting brand name or equal procurement information for Optical Ultrasounds with AB Scan and 15 MHz B Probes for a firm fixed-price contract at VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System at 5406 E El Campo Grande Ave., STE 150, Las Vegas, NV 89115. CLIN 0001 Description: 15 MHz B Probe - Compact Touch 2 15MHz B-Scan Probe with Transport Case (Brand Name or Equal) Manufacturer: Quantel Medical PN: PCBX0025 Quantity: 8 ea. CLIN 0002 Description: Optical Ultrasound with AB Scan - Compact Touch 2 Ultrasound with A/B-Scan (Brand Name or Equal) Manufacturer: Quantel Medical PN: HCMT2OAB Quantity: 8 ea. Salient Characteristics for Optical Ultrasound Must be capable of performing the following functions: A-scan biometry with 0.03mm accuracy B-scan ultrasound with 15mHz probe Pachymetry within +/- 5 microns accuracy Must have a small footprint, but not solely a USB handheld unit, which is more prone to drops and breakage. Must have backlit color touch screen monitor Must have a DICOM interface Must be capable of performing biometry while in B-scan mode Must have A-scan probeam to facilitate scan acquisition Must have Biometry A Probe Must have B-scan probe and be compatible with single-use disposable cot covers to obviate the need for high level disinfection and reduce the potential for damage and costly repairs Overall dimensions of the base unit/monitor shall not exceed 12 inches wide Must be portable. They must be able to sit on top of a rolling cart or trolley so that they can be moved around the clinic Units shall come with a cart or trolley Must come with at least a 2- Year Warranty RESPONSES MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: Company Name, Address, Size Standard, DUNS #, Cage Code Point of Contact name, phone number, and email address NAICS Code 333314 and Small Business Size Standard 500 employees Capability Statement *NOTE Acquisitions will only be set aside for SDVOSBs/VOSBs if two or more responses are received with the required information listed above, by the due date specified below. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. GREY MARKET ITEMS: The Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that the OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. The vendor shall provide new items ONLY; no remanufactured or grey market items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer s warranty. The offeror shall provide evidence of its authority to distribute the proposed equipment/system at the time of submission of its quote/offer. Please note that such evidence is subject to verification by the Contracting Officer at his/her discretion.
