Falcon Blvd, Peoria, IL 61607, POC SMSgt Melissa Grice Synopsis: Hangar Door Welding Inspection Services The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this project including interested Small Business Sources.� This notice is for planning purposes only.� All interested parties should respond.� USPFO for Illinois National Guard, 182nd Airlift Wing, Peoria, IL intends to issue a solicitation for an inspection to be performed by a welding inspector qualified per AWS D1.1:2015 Section 6.1.4.1(1), which requires current or previous qualification as an American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) in conformance with the provisions of QC1, Standard for AWS Certification of Welding Inspectors.� The inspection would be to visually inspect 3 aircraft hangar doors.� All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intent to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than 23 January 2020.� This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include (1) positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor, and (2) a completed and signed Sources Sought Information Request Form (posted with this announcement) and (3) A listing of projects completed during the past three years, both for government and private industry (�Proj_Ref_List posted with this announcement).� The project name, type of project, dollar value, Contract number, location and Point of Contact are to be included.� Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor.� A brief outline of resources, subcontractors, and key personnel that would be used to accomplish the contract. In the event adequate Small Business contractors are not available for adequate competition for this project, it may be advertised as unrestricted.� Information shall be provided via email to melissa.j.grice.mil@mail.mil. Include the following in the subject line � Sources Sought W50S7T20Q0008.� No facsimile responses will be honored.
