Description
The United States Government, represented by the U.S. Agency for International Development, Bureau for Democracy, Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance; Center of Excellence on Democracy, Human Rights and Governance; Human Rights Division (USAID/Washington, DCHA/DRG/HR),�is seeking offers from qualified individuals to provide personal services under a contract as described in this solicitation.� This position is for one (1) Washington, D.C. based USPSC LGBTI Program Analyst at the GS-11 equivalent level.� The period of performance is a One (1) year base period estimated to start July 1,�2020 through June 30, 2021, with up to four One-Year Option Periods, based on Agency needs.���The LGBTI Program Analyst USPSC should expect to spend up to 40% of her/his time on Temporary Duty Assignments (TDYs). The LGBTI Program Analyst will provide support to USAID Washington-based and field Missions to advance USAID's approach to addressing anti-LGBTI violence, discrimination, stigma, and criminalization in developing countries; contribute to activities responding to such opportunities; and work with stakeholders and DRG/HR to implement, monitor, and evaluate these activities. The LGBTI Program Analyst shall be knowledgeable about global LGBTI issues, and will carry out a diverse set of work assignments related USAID's approach to protect LGBTI people in developing countries from violence, discrimination, stigma, and criminalization.� The PSC will assist with contributions to research, programming, training, and policy.�� Offers must be submitted in accordance with Attachment 1, Sections I through V of the attached solicitation SOL-7200AA20R00010. This solicitation in no way obligates USAID to award a PSC contract, nor does it commit USAID to pay any cost incurred in the preparation and submission of the offer.� Any questions related to this solicitation must be directed in writing to the Point of Contact specified in Section I of Attachment 1 of this solicitation.
