- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT for the procurement of commercial items. The Naval Air Warfare Center; Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), AIR 2.5.1.5, Patuxent River, MD intends to award a brand name specific, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for annual software maintenance and technical support from No Magic Incorporated, One Allen Center, 700 Central Expressway South, Suite 110, Allen, Texas 75013. The requirement is to provide software updates, maintenance and support to be utilized by the Government for the development of systems models, Integrated Modeling Environment (IME), using Cameo series of products for the Systems Engineering Transformation in support of the Systems Engineering Department (AIR 4.1). The estimated period of performance for this requirement is twelve (12) months after contract award. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is based upon Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, whereby the supplies or services required are available from only one source, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. No additional written information, formal request for proposal, or solicitation is available at this time. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and Part 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial brand name specific acquisition. This Notice of Intent is for informational purposes only, and not a request for competitive proposals. If a party believes they can provide this support, they may submit their technical capability information, which shall be considered by the Government. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided nor return any information provided.� The Government retains the right not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice.
