- Synopsis:� Notice of Intent To Award A Brand Name Contract Announcement Number: 1305M2-20-00231 Project Title: New John Deere Commercial Marine rated Diesel Engines � The US Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Region Acquisition Division, Simplified Acquisition Branch intends to negotiate on a brand name basis for NEW John Deere Commercial Marine rated Diesel Engines, using the procedures in FAR Part 13.� No Refurbished or Remanufactured engines will be considered for award. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(ii), Only one particular Brand Name. ��Delivery date is March 1, 2020. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 333618 with a business size standard of 1,500 employees. �The Government will award a firm fixed price contract based on best value to the government, lowest price technically acceptable quote. This RFQ is unrestricted. The associated NAICS code is 333618, with a business size standard of 1,500 employees.� The Product Service Code Class is 2815. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote: The Request for Quote (RFQ) number; The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror; Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ. Quotes that reject the terms and conditions of the RFQ may be excluded from consideration; Acknowledgment of Solicitation Amendments (SF-30), if any, and; Provide a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation. This may include product literature, or other documents, if necessary. Address technical capability in meeting the requirement per the Statement of Work. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotes must be submitted via electronic means (e-mail) by 04:00 P.M. Eastern on January 22, 2020; any award resulting from this RFQ will be made based on the lowest price technically acceptable. Quotes must be submitted electronically via e-mail to linda.mullen@noaa.gov. All questions must be submitted in writing to linda.mullen@noaa.gov by 11:00 A.M. Eastern on January 17, 2020. Telephone inquiries will not be honored. The anticipated award date is on or about January 27, 2020. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted). Offerors must be registered in the SAM database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.sam.gov/.
