Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice for the purpose of conducting market research and obtaining industry information ONLY. Proposals are NOT Being requested, nor accepted at this time. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information from businesses that would be interested and capable of providing the types of services noted below. The United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) will use information obtained through this synopsis as well as other market research to develop an acquisition strategy. The USFWS anticipates soliciting and awarding a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) associated with the planning, design, oversight, and implementation of aquatic restoration projects. Work may include site assessments, data collection and analysis, partner coordination, permit preparation, development of alternatives for restoration projects, including recommendations and design of instream, wetland, floodplain, and riparian restoration projects to restore natural site conditions for the benefit of fish and wildlife. Work does not include construction activities, only professional services as discussed in FAR Subpart 36.6. The geographic area covered by this contract will be Oregon and Idaho. All work will be accomplished in accordance with individual task order requirements. The term of the contract shall include a base period of 1 year with options for four (4) additional one (1) year periods. Total contract amount per awarded contract is estimated at $1.5 Million over 5 years or a maximum of $300,000 per year. Individual task orders may range from $5,000 to $300,000 with the maximum task order value of $300,000. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code will be 541330 Engineering Services. The small business size standard will be $16.5 Million. Again, at this time the USFWS is not accepting proposals but is requesting that interested businesses respond to this notice by furnishing the following information by 01/15/2020. (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and email address. (2) DUNS Number. (3) Business type. (4) Provide a general statement of your qualifications, capabilities, and ability to perform the required types of work. (5) Brief description of engineering and design services similar to the above provided in the past 5 years. Minimum information should include: Contract price, project location, dates of service, and a brief description. (6) Interested Firms should demonstrate the capability to perform aspects of the types of work chosen as described in this synopsis, either by their in-house capabilities, or through their teaming/ subcontractors capabilities. All responses to this notice should be submitted to Nicholas Koston at nicholas_koston@fws.gov by no later than close of business 01/15/2020.
