Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.� This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. � INTENT TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i). The name of the company the government intends to award a contract to KVH Industries, Inc. 50 Enterprise CTR, Middletown, RI, 02842-5268, United States. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation. The solicitation number is W911QX-20-Q-0031. The acquisition is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). � The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-02, effective 22 November 2019. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full-text at the following website address:� https://www.acquisiton.gov/browse/inded/far. � The associated NAICS code is 334511. The small business standard size is 1,250 employees. � The Following is a list of contract line item number(s) and items, quantities and units of measure, (including option(s), if applicable): � CLIN 0001 � Three (3) GEO-FOG 3D Dual receiver assembly, 2M pre-terminated interface cable, RS-422 to USB converter cable, (2) Antcom G5Ant-3AT1antenna w/ SMA connector and (2) cables, packaged within a protective travel case. � Specifications/Requirements: � CISD requires the proposed COTS GEO-FOG Kit to meet the following minimum requirements: The gyro shall be fiber optic. The gyro shall have at least 1750 Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) core processor. The system shall uses a sensor fusion algorithm, instead of the typical Kalman filter. The system shall also contain a backup MEMS IMU. The GNSS receiver shall include Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM). The GNSS receiver shall provide at least 8 mm positioning accuracy. The GNSS receiver shall be dual antenna. The GNSS receiver shall support all of the current and future satellite navigation systems including GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and BeiDou. The GNSS receiver shall offers data rates up to 1000 Hz. The GNSS receiver shall be able to output data over a high-speed RS-422 interface or RS-232 interface.���� � � Delivery: Delivery is required by 8 weeks after receipt of order (ARO).
