Description
Marion Technical Questions: Contractor has to rely on Google Earth since we do not have access to VA s Capital Asset Inventory (CAI). Would it be possible for VA to either provide viewing access to CAI or to provide a Site Map of the Marion campus that identifies the location, square footage, and current building condition of Buildings 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 3 33, 34, and garages numbered 91, 93, 123 and 125. Map attached. The EUL Developer may not use all the buildings or garages listed in this solicitation. That is to be decided with further discussions regarding VA and Marion community housing needs. Does VA know if the forthcoming request for developer proposals will provide the developer the options of environmental (asbestos, lead based paint etc..) anddemolishing any of the subject buildings. It would be good to know if some of the buildings have already been deemed as unsafe to the point that they cannot be repaired or reused. If so, to what extent does VA desire the selected consultant to address this issue in the Feasibility Analysis. These issues are important so that the consultant can maximize the benefits to VA and assist withoutsourcing the Marion EUL available land, buildings and other resources. This additional information will also assist the consultant to integrate the details into their project planning approach and strategic technical support. A Developer has already been selected for this EUL project. It would be helpful to this consultant to know if these buildings will all fall within one EUL Boundary or be separated by more than one parcel boundary. The exact boundaries of the EUL site is to be determined based on VA/ Marion community needs. VA Northern Indiana Health Care System Marion Campus Development Site *Proposed EUL Buildings for reuse are marked in pink
