Description
THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY.� This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes � it does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future.� This request for information does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.� Further, the Air Force is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.� Responders are advised that the U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party�s expense.� Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Digital Directorate, Foreign Military Sales Division (AFLCMC/HBN) has ongoing requirements for C4I capabilities and is seeking Pricing and Availability (P&A) of industry�s C4I capabilities to support the US Program Office executing future Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases for delivering discrete C4I systems in individual and expedited timelines.� The purpose of this RFI is to collaborate with industry partners who can offer Fast-Track C4I capabilities that can meet the functional requirements specified in C4I Mission Application SRD (Attachment 1) and within the operational context described in KSA C4I Modernization Study Concept of Operations (CONOPS) (Attachment 2). The threshold is to field Fast-Track C4I capabilities in a 12 month period with an objective 6 months from contract award.� AFLCMC/HBN is releasing this RFI to: (1) evaluate the Fast-Track C4I capabilities which industry has to offer and can deliver in an expedited schedule to meet the functional requirements (2) request industry to develop P&A Brochures which provide specific information on the Fast-Track capability of offered products, exportability, estimated costs and schedule of implementation.� UPDATE 7�JANUARY 2020:� KSA C4I Modernization Study Concept of Operations (CONOPS) (Attachment 2) is not releaseable at this time and will not be available upon request. The information within the CONOPS is not required�in order to be able to respond to this RFI. If you have any specific questions related to CONOPS �please submit them to the Contracting Officer, Mark Johnson at mark.johnson.95@us.af.mil.
