- � Synopsis for FMS LM2500 PT808 Overhaul for Turkey � The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price contract to complete the overhaul of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) LM2500 marine Paired Blade Power Turbine (PT) Assembly (NSN 2S 2835-01-032-9124) Serial Number PT808 to Air New Zealand Engineering Services, 185 Fanshawe St, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.� Award of this sole source effort is anticipated in the 1st quarter Government fiscal year 2019. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Air New Zealand is the only firm capable of completing the FMS LM2500 PT808 overhaul because it disassembled and inspected PT808. � � Note:� This action is separate from, is not included in, and does not conflict with the Sources Sought for FMS LM2500 Overhauls posted to FedBizOps.gov on 6 September 2018 under solicitation number N0002418R4154.� � The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.� Interested parties may respond to this synopsis with a letter of capability and interest, or proposal.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� However, all capability statements received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.� A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
