Description
This was previously posted under Solicitation No.140R6019R001. This will now be Solicitated in FY20. The new Solicitation No. is 140R6020R0005. For the full text of this solicitation, please visit the FedConnect link and open the attachment(s) in FedConnect. The following is summary of work contemplated under this solicitation. Work is located at Marys Lake Powerplant, approximately 3 miles southwest of Estes Park, Colorado in Larimer County. The principal components of work to be performed include the following: � turbine runner, wear ring, and head gate trash rack, replacement; � wicket gate refurbishment including journal shoulder machining, seal face rebuilding, and bushing replacement; � lead abatement, abrasive blasting, weld repair, machining, and recoating of the head cover, shift ring, wicket gate linkages, scroll case, draft tube and stay vanes; � rebabbitting of the upper guide bearing, lower guide bearing, turbine bearing, and thrust bearing shoes; � refurbishment of the permanent magnetic generator (PMG); � penstock flow meter installation; � cleaning and recoating the stator and the rotor; � replacement of miscellaneous components including servo motor seals and turbine pit grease system lubrication components TYPE OF CONTRACT: This requirement is solicited as a/an Request for Proposal (RFP) using the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation. The Bureau of Reclamation anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 METHOD OF SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS: See Section L of this Solicitation. BUSINESS SIZE COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS: This acquisition is solicited as Full and Open. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE: 237990. (Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction). PRE-PROPOSAL SITE VISIT: An organized site visit has not yet been scheduled. Once that date and time have been determined, it will be addressed in an amendment. The government will allow at least 2 weeks from the date of the site visit before proposals are due. Attendees shall bring and wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety boots, hard hats, safety vests, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
