Description

WVA SCOPE OF WORK 01-19 X-RAY ACCELERATOR REBUILD SERVICE CONTRACT M1A1 CO-PRODUCTION MILITARY FACILITY 200 (MF-200) CAIRO, EGYPT, C.1. SCOPE/GENERAL REQUIREMENTS C.1.1 The period of performance is for two months upon receipt of the defective accelerator. C.2. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: C.2.1 ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC. �The contractor shall diagnose and repair complex, computerized equipment and sensors.� The contractor shall be knowledgeable of the use of electronic monitoring and testing equipment to detect faults for this type of equipment. �The contractor shall determine the extent of defect required to rebuildthis equipment to original condition. C.3. EXPERIENCE: C.3.1 The contractor shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in the industrial equipment repair, inspection and testing of X-Ray equipment. C.4. SPECIFIC DUTIES/TASKS: Contractor shall rebuild one model 2990-3100-1.9MeV X-Ray Accelerator C.4.1 GENERAL CONDITIONS C.4.1.1 All work/repair will be to the best commercial practice, based on the equipment manufacturer�s advice and be compatible with all local laws, codes, regulations etc. (The electrical supply may be different, 50 Hertz). The repair work shall be compatible to the original design specifications or shall include the changes and any upgrades. C.4.1.2 The contractor shall have a program/system to demonstrate that all repairs have restored the equipment to its original/satisfactory operating condition or better. C.4.1.3 The rebuilt X-Ray shall be warranted for a period of one year except in the case of neglect, operator errors or overseas shipping causing damage to the electronic equipment and/or any other cause attributed to the Egyptian Government. C.4.2 SPECIFIC REBUILD REQUIREMENTS. C.4.2.1 The contractor shall: PROVIDE/INSTALL ONE (1) NEW E-GUN FILAMENT PROVIDE/INSTALL ONE (1) NEW ION PUMP OPERATE/RUN A BAKE-OUT PROCESS OPERATE/RUN A HIGH POWER RF PROCESS OPERATE/RUN A FULL POWER BEAM PROCESS C.5 DELIVERABLES C.5.1 The contractor shall provide a certificate of compliance to OEM requirements for the rebuilt accelerator. IAW CDRL A001.
