Description

THIS REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible firms capable of providing the supplies/services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition. INCUBMENT: N6449817D0002 by Lyme Computer SystemsANTICIPATED AWARD DATE: July 2020 Contract Type - Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated. This requirement will be awarded based on lowest price technically acceptable evaluation criteria.Period of Performance - The ordering period will span five years from the date of award, beginning on or after 1 July 2020. Scope - The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is seeking sources to provide Siemens/RuggedCom network switching equipment. In order to ensure compatibility/conformity with existing systems and programs, it is the Government’s intention to procure Siemens/RuggedCom parts as a small business set-aside in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, as only Siemens/Ruggedcom’s parts meets the government’s requirements. Capability Statements:Prior to issuing a limited source solicitation, NSWCPD is requesting information in order to make an informed determination regarding procurement strategy. Interested small businesses are invited to electronically submit capability statements, not to exceed 5 double spaced, single-sided pages in length, demonstrating their ability to fulfill this requirement. Capability Statements must address, at a minimum the following:Section 1: Introduction. Identify the Sources Sought Number and TitleSection 2: Corporate Description. Name of Company and address Ownership, including whether: Small, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), HUBZone, or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Points of contact, including: Name, title, phone, and e-mail address CAGE Code and DUNS Number (1) Discussion of how your products will meet the requirements found in the attached parts list.(2) Demonstrated status as a Siemens/RuggedCom authorized reseller/dealer/partner.Attachment (1) DRAFT List of Required SuppliesNote: The requested information is for planning purposes and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. All information and data received in response to this sources sought marked or designated a corporate proprietary information will be fully protected and held in strict confidence.Note: No telephone responses will be accepted. No contractor response received after the advertised due date and time will be accepted. No exceptions to this receipt deadline will be granted under any circumstances.
