The Embassy of the United States in Serbia will launch the solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website when it is available.The Government requires services for packing, crating and shipping of household effects and vehicles, and estimates an annual volume of 200 metric tons of household effects and 70 vehicles to be shipped in/out of Serbia. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government intends to award two indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts resulting from this solicitation to two lowest priced technically acceptable offerors who are responsible contractors. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offers without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations.. Quotations from companies not registered in SAM at the time of award will be considered technically unacceptable.
