- AMENDMENT 0001 : For the full text of this solicitation, please open the package attached to this FBO announcement or visit the FedConnect link and open the attachment(s) in FedConnect. The following is summary of work contemplated under this solicitation.Work is located at Canyon Ferry Powerplant approximately 17 miles east of Helena, Montana, in Lewis and Clark County.The principal components of work to be performed include the following:The work consists of removing and disposing of existing bridge crane motors and control equipment, electrical wiring, associated enclosures, trolley power rails; furnishing, installing, and testing new motors and variable frequency drive (VFD) crane controls, a new grounded rail conductor, and trolley festoon power system; removing and disposing of hoist ropes; furnishing and installing new hoist ropes; performing system checkout and commissioning, operation and maintenance training and certified crane load tests; and certifying crane lifting devices.TYPE OF CONTRACT: This requirement is solicited as a/an Request for Proposal (RFP) using the Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15 - Contracting by Negotiation. The Bureau of Reclamation anticipates the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract.MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT:Between $500,000 and $1,000,000METHOD OF SUBMISSION OF PROPOSALS:See Section L of this Solicitation.BUSINESS SIZE COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS:This acquisition is solicited as total small business set-aside. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE:238990. (All Other Specialty Trade Contractors).PRE-PROPOSAL SITE VISIT: A pre-proposal site visit will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. (MST) local time. The meeting will start promptly at the Bureau of Reclamation, Canyon Ferry Field Office, 7700 Canyon Ferry Road, Helena, Montana 59602 and proceed to the powerplant from there.
