- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District (MVP) has a requirement entitled the Marshall Flood Control Rehabilitation project to repair the existing levee at 4 locations in Marshall, Minnesota (Lyon County). Work includes but is not limited to minor clearing and tree removal, excavation and placement of riprap, sand and geotextile as well as bituminous bike path restoration and re-seeding. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this action is 237990; Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction with a small business size standard of $39.5M.The estimated magnitude of construction is between $250,000 and $500,000; the contract will require 100% performance and payment bonds. This procurement is set-aside 100% for small business concerns.This synopsis is not a request for quotes (RFQ), proposals (RFP), or in an invitation for bids (IFB). This is a pre-solicitation notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via Contract Opportunities at beta.SAM.gov (formerly FedBizOpps/FBO.gov) in the near future-the solicitation will not be issued less than 15 days from the date of this announcement. The specifications will be detailed in the solicitation once issued.This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract.Bids will be due not less than 30 days from the date the solicitation is issued.
