Description

The agency requires non-personal services at two separate locations under the NGB Furniture Services and Materials requirement. The first location is the Herbert R. Temple, Jr. Army Readiness Center (TARC) located at 111 South George Mason Drive Arlington, VA 22204. The second location is the Air National Guard Readiness Center (ANGRC) located at 3501 Fetchet Ave., Joint Base Andrews, MD 20762.The solicitation issuing office is the NGB Operational Contracting Division (DoDAAC: W9133L) at 111 South George Mason Drive Arlington, VA 22204. The single-award task order contract (SATOC) requirement is forecasted to be solicited under W9133L-20-R-2005 (updated from W9133L-19-R-2005) and will close thirty days following solicitation posting unless otherwise extended.The IDIQ shall have a five year ordering period. Based upon the applicability of the non-manufacture rule, this requirement is being solicited as unrestricted. Requirement:The services require the contractor to provide all personnel, equipment, supervision, and quality control necessary to configure/reconfigure the existing office areas at the TARC and ANGRC locations. The services include the disassembly, installation, reconfiguration of existing office space furniture at both locations, and storage and inventory control of existing attic stock of materials. The areas to be serviced include the office workspace areas, conference rooms, and the various common areas throughout each facility. The furniture and associated furniture systems used throughout each facility is exclusively Haworth brand furniture. The Government will require that all proposing firms be authorized to purchase, install and service the Haworth furniture provided to the Government to ensure compatibility with existing structures.The information provided herein is provided as a frame of reference for any future solicitation action. The United States Government has not made a commitment to procure any of the items discussed and therefore this synopsis should not be construed as a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. Contractors are encouraged to not rely solely on the provided information within this synopsis as it is not all inclusive.
