- Description
- This a Firm-Fixed-Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract for one base year and four one-year option periods to provide uniform rental services for the Exercise Support Division (ESD), Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Center (MAGTFTC), Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, California. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials/supplies, equipment, supervision, facilities and transportation necessary to provide uniform rental services to employees of ESD who are routinely exposed to petroleum, oils and lubricants. The uniforms promote a healthy industrial work environment and eliminate wear and tear on personal clothing. Uniform rental services include shirts with emblems and name embroidery, pants, cold weather jackets, measuring and fitting services, weekly pick up of soiled uniforms, professional laundering, damage inspection, minor uniform repairs, replacement as needed, and weekly delivery of clean uniforms. The contract will provide eleven (11) uniform sets per employee and two (2) cold weather jackets per employee. One uniform set is comprised of one shirt and one pair of pants. The maximum number of employees covered under this contract is 183.Uniforms identified by the Government or the Contractor for replacement due to damage beyond minor repair caused by Government action or Government employee neglect or loss will be replaced with a serviceable uniform at the Government’s expense in accordance with the schedule. A minor repair is considered the replacement of button and zippers, minor sewing such as small tears, seams, pockets, emblems, identification tags, and other similar damage. The Government will NOT pay for replacement due to normal wear and tear.
