Description: The USDA Forest Service, Ocala National Forest, 17147 E HWY 40, Silver Springs, FL 34488-5849, has a requirement for Sand Pine Seeding of 1,825 acres using a farm tractor with a specialized government furnished seeder and government furnished seed on the Seminole and Lake George Ranger Districts in Marion County, FL. The period of performance is 10 December 2019, or date of award, whichever is later, through 22 January 2020. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed priced contract. Incumbents in the last three years have charged between $10-$15 per acre.
