Description

The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground - Natick Contracting Division on behalf of the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities and Development Command (CCDC), Aerial Delivery Directorate (ADD) intends to procure on a sole source basis under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, Airborne Systems Improved Parachutist Oxygen Mask (Model# 604105-1) Small (SN) x QTY 1; Medium (MW) x QTY 3; Large (LW) x QTY 1, Airborne Systems Portable Test Stand (Model# 607200-0) x QTY 1, to Airborne Systems North America (ASNA), 5800 Magnolia Ave., Pennsauken, NJ 08109. ASNA is the only known source that manufactures the Airborne Systems Improved Parachutist Oxygen Mask (Model# 604105-1) and Test Stand (Model# 607200-0), and it is proprietary to ASNA. A Firm Fixed Price Contract will be issued. This is not a request for quotes. No solicitation package is available. Any responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334515.
