SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FORAir Traffic Control Radio TowersFA4661-20-Q-0005THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF ASOLICITATION. This sources sought request for information is for the purpose of conducting market research to provide data for planning purposes. This sources sought synopsis announcement does not constitute a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, does not obligate the government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, reimburse respondents for any proposal preparation and/or submittal costs, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender.Dyess AFB located in Abilene Texas, is seeking potential sources capable of engineering, furnishing, installing and testing (EFI&T) the installation of two new 80-ft towers, shelter and infrastructure to support the new CM-300 series radios at Dyess AFB near building 9030 as replacements for the existing building and antenna pole mast at the same location. The towers will be populated with new antennas, RF cabling, lightning protection, and obstruction lighting. Installation includes contractor provided generator, automatic transfer switch (ATS), and UPS for shelter, a new fiber optic jumbo MUX or switch with VOAD (digital to analog gateway) will be attached to existing fiber optic lines at both the shelter and Air Traffic Control (ATC) Tower user ends. See the attached Statement of Work (SOW) (Attachment 1) for more details.For the purposes of being considered a small business, the following applies: NAICS - 423390, Size Standard-100 EMP.Feedback, questions, and comments regarding the attached statement of work are welcomed.Your response may include, but shall not be limited to the following information:a. Documentation of technical expertise and capability,d. Relevant past performance on same/similar work dating back to the last five years and your company’s capability to do this type of work,e. Questions, concerns, or suggestions regarding the attached SOW.It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. This is not a solicitation nor will a solicitation package be issued as a result of this announcement, and no award shall be made as a result of this announcement. In the event that a solicitation is developed, it will be assigned a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) number or Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the announcement may be published on Beta.SAM.gov https://beta.sam.gov/.Responses to this notice will assist the government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate. The Government reserves the right to set-aside any subsequent acquisition based upon known sources and/or responses to this sources sought.Responses are requested no later than 3:00 P.M.
