Description

NASA Ames Research Center (ARC) intends to extend contract NNA14AC46C, Financial Support Services (FSS) with The Logical-R Joint Venture LLC on a sole-source basis pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services with Satisfy Agency Requirements. The purpose of this contract is to provide on-going support for resources management, financial management, program analysis and business integration, end user services support, special financial analysis and contractor travel and training activities support functions for ARC.The performance period will be extended for up to twelve months. The period of performance will be extended from January 14, 2020 through January 13, 2021. The extension may increase the current contract value.The extension is necessary to continue on-going mission critical work at ARC pending solicitation and subsequent award of the competitive follow-on contract for Financial Support Services 2 (FSS-2).This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Notwithstanding this stated intent, interested organizations may submit their capabilities statement, outlining qualifications to perform this requirement, in writing, to the identified point of contact no later than 5PM local time on Friday, November 29, 2019. Submitted capabilities/qualifications will be reviewed solely for determining whether to conduct this requirement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit their information, which shall be considered by the agency.
