- Performance Work StatementDepartment of Veterans Affairs (VA)Sources Sought Notice Gray Water Tank Draining and disposal of Gray WaterThis is a Sources Sought notice and not a request for quotes. This request is solely for the purpose of conducting market research to enhance VHA s understanding of your company s offered services and capabilities. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted in response to this Source Sought Notice.This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their capability and availability to provide the service requirement described below. Vendors are being invited to submit information relative to their potential to fulfill this requirement, in the form of acapability response that addresses the specific requirement identified in this Sources Sought.The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking to obtain Gray Water tank drainage and waste water disposal at the VA Medical Center West Haven Connecticut The standard of services shall be of quality; meeting or exceeding the general requirements as outlined below.Refer to the General Requirements section below for the requested service description. This Sources Sought is to facilitate the Contracting Officer s review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy.General Requirements:Title of Project: Compound Pharmacy Trailer gray water tank draining Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide all resources, services and supervision to drain and dispose of two (2) 50-gallon gray water tanks (contents of tank only) in accordance with local state and federal regulations.Gray water tanks shall be drained weekly (52 times a year) on Tuesdays between the hours of 2:30 8:00 PM EST. excluding federal holidays. Any deviation from the Tuesday schedule shall be coordinated between the contractor and Pharmacy Point of Contact to include pumping changes attributed to holidays. Emergency Calls: The contractor shall allow for emergency drain call services not to exceed ten (10) calls per year with a 24-hour drainage response time. Interference to Normal Function: The contractor may be required to interrupt their work at any time as not to interfere with the function of the facility, including facility repair etc.. In the event of an emergency, contractor services may be stopped and rescheduled at no additional cost to the government. Period of Performance: Performance will commence starting on the award date for 12-months.
