Description

The United States Coast Guard Command, Control, Communications, and Information Technology Service Center (C4ITSC) Contracting and Procurement Division (CPD), intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order for the renewal of Sea-Web software. Sea-Web is a software application that addresses the needs of government entities that require the ability for both complex and simple search capabilities. Sea-Web software houses an extensive ship database that holds critical information on over 180,000 ships over 100 gross tons. IHS Global software support and maintenance services are proprietary. Sea-Web software support and maintenance services are proprietary to IHS Global. Only IHS Global has the ability to provide all necessary interfaces to allow for easy-to-use search capabilities for simple look-ups through complex database queries. The displays are in a grid format that allows for ease of reference. There is also an export option that incorporates into the EGIS and NAIS systems.
