- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(B), Only one responsible source is capable of providing the services required that will satisfy agency requirements, CareFusion Solutions, LLC, 3750 Torrey View Ct. San Diego, CA 92130. CareFusion Solutions, LLC will provide preventative maintenance provide unlimited full-service coverage on the CareFusion Pyxis brand products located at each VISN 15 medical center as well as labor, travel, parts and software upgrades. This will be a firm-fixed price contract.The NAICS code is 811219 with a size standard of $20.5 Million. The solicitation # per station is as follow: Marion RFQ#36C25520Q0051, Poplar Bluff RFQ#36C25520Q0052 and St. Louis RFQ#36C25520Q0053. This action is a delivery task order against the GSA Schedule Contract 36F79718D0454 with a period of performance of twelve (12) month.This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT November 25, 2019 at 8:00 AM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contractupon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer with station and RFQ number, Notice of Intent. If after November 25, 2019, no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with CareFusion Solutions, LLC.This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes.
