- Description
- ***Please note this effort was originally referred to as the Digital Services IDIQ and/or the Agile DevOps IDIQ, however, in the name of agile and incremental improvement, we've updated to the much catchier Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Customer Experience, DevOps and Agile Releases (CEDAR1) IDIQ*** This posting is to provide additional details to the message posted this morning. The Government will be holding at least three events over the next 6 weeks to engage and provide information to industry. The first will be an Industry Engagement and Information Session at the W Hotel in San Francisco, CA on 11/20/19 from 1230PM PST to 130PM PST. Please find additional information and register at the following link (space is limited so please sign up asap): https://www.eventbrite.com/e/va-customer-experience-devops-and-agile-releases-cedar1-idiq-discussion-tickets-80785821567 The second event will be a series of roundtable and networking tables at the National Veterans Small Business Engagement (NVSBE) 2019 in Nashville, TN from December 9, 2019 to December 11, 2019. More specifics on this event will be provided ASAP. You can find more information and register for NVSBE at the following link: https://www.vetbiz.va.gov/nvsbe2019/home/ The third event will be a matching-making event in the Washington, D.C. metro area in mid-December. Plans are still being finalized and the Government will provide details ASAP. The tentative schedule for this effort will start with a draft solicitation to be released in mid-January 2020, with the formal RFP release by the end of January 2020. This RFP will lead to the award of a multiple award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for agile, DevOps, User Centered Design, and other modern software development methodologies in support of VA s on-going transformation efforts and VA s digital modernization strategy. VA intends to solicit this as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. More information to follow shortly. For more information or for questions, please contact Josh Cohen at Joshua.Cohen2@va.gov or David Melton at David.Melton@va.gov.
