- A solicitation package for GMC Health Insurance Services of the US Embassy Bangkok dated Nov. 4, 2019. A signed solicitation letter for GMC Health Insurance Services of the US Embassy Bangkok dated Nov. 4, 2019. Please note this solicitation is ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Bangkok, Thailand has launched the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. This Solicitation is to provide health insurance services to employees of the Government of the United States of America in Thailand. The estimated numbers of employees and eligible dependents are included in the solicitation. This is a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type contract. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The solicitation has been issued via FedBizOpps website. The Government has planned a pre-proposal conference, and the date for this conference will be on December 11, 2019 at 9.00 a.m. (Bangkok time) as mentioned in the Section L.8 of the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at the above web address. Electronic Submission/Responses: No electric offers will be accepted. Please mail your offer to the GSO/Procurement and Contracting Office listed in this notice prior to the response date and time.
