Description
Amendment 2: Answer Contractor questions and the RFQ # 68HE0719Q0014 due date shall be extended out to November 6, 2019 @ 12:00 pm (EDT). 1) Q: Are there any plans to schedule pre-proposal site visits at the Region 9 & 10 offices? A: Not necessary Performance Work Statement (PWS) Questions: 2) Q: Key Tasks: 1.2 - Inventory Recording: This task requires the contractor to replenish any item used from EPA inventory. Please clarify if the contractor will be reimbursed for this? Or, does the government expect the contractor to price it in the bid price? A: No, the Contractor shall not be responsible for replenishing the spare parts inventory. The Government will purchase inventory as needed. The portion of the PWS that requires the Contractor to replenish the Spare Parts inventory shall be deleted from the Performance Work Statement. 3) Q: 1.2 - Inventory Recording: Spare Parts: Please provide the list of EPA current inventory for both sites. A: The list of EPA current inventory will be provided to the successful Contractor upon award. 4) Q: 2.2 - Installation, Labor, and Material - Please clarify if the costs (material and labor) for any upgrades, replacements or repairs will need to be included in the bid price? A: Yes, contractor must include in bid price. 5) Q: 3.1. and 4 PACS Server Configuration - Please clarify if the contractor will need to include all costs for SW Licenses in the bid price? A: Yes, contractor must include in bid price. 6) Q: 4.1 PACS WS & Printer - Please clarify if contractor needs to include printer's and workstation's upgrade (new printer and new WS) in the bid price? A: Yes, contractor must include cost estimate in bid price. 7) Q: 5, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 LAN PACS Network Connectivity - Please clarify if contractor needs to include material and labor costs for these tasks in the bid price? It is difficult to price any future unknown repairs / upgrade in the bid proposal. A: Yes, contractor must include cost estimate in bid price. 8) Q: Please provide the floor plans with the equipment location and distances for both sites. A: Floor plans will be provided to the successful contractor, after award. 9) Q: 6 Ethernet Controllers - For price purposes, please clarify how many controllers the contractor will need to replace / upgrade on annual basis? A: This is not generally an item or issue that is often replaced or upgraded in general, let alone on an annual basis. R10 has not had to address this within the last 3 years.
