Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego, CA intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Welin Lambie Limited, Britannia House Old bush Street, Brierley Hill, West Midlands, DY51UB, UK See attached Sole Source Justification Delivery Address: USS Independence LCS-2 3581 Cummings Rd, Bldg. 3581 San Diego, CA 92136-3581 Welin Lambie Limited is the authorized OEM entity for the item in this Notice. Requirement includes delivery of the item. NAVSUP FLCSD will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition. The authority for soliciting a single source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting Competition, which states that Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The proposed contract action is for a sole source award. Contractor shall provide (1)ea Air Wrench Assembly P/N 5595-0901. This Notice of Intent is not a Request for Quotation. No solicitation or RFQ will be forthcoming. Interested parties may identify their interest and submit product information in response to this notice by 10:00 AM (PST) 04 November 2019 via email to Rubeli.deinla@navy.mil A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely at the discretion of the Government.
