10/29/2019 -- This update includes Amendment 1 of the Sources Sought Notice and adds a separate Question and Answer List (See Attached for both). Amendment 1 adds PDPA POC information.------------------ -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- ------------ 10/28/2019 -- Correction to FBO Closing date: Changing Survey Expiration date from: 11/25/2019 to 11/22/2109 as specified in the original Attached Source Sought Notice.---------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------- -------- 10/23/2019 -- The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), in support of the Program Executive Office, Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) Battlespace Awareness and Information Operations (PMW 120) program office, is conducting a market survey to determine the interest and capability of Industry to produce a packable atmospheric sensor suite. This solution will be fielded as part of the Naval Integrated Tactical Environmental System - Next Generation (NITES-Next) program. Currently, NITES-Next employs the Enhanced Advanced Weather Observation System (AWOS) as a 2-man portable atmospheric sensor suite. This sources sought notice describes the projected capabilities and features to supplement the existing sensor suite with a more lightweight, single-person packable sensor. Interested parties should illustrate an understanding of the requirements and address each section of the White Paper in the attached notice.
