- Description
- NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) plans to award a follow-on contract for Programmatic and Institutional Knowledge Services (PIKES), to provide support to the NASA/GSFC Technical Information and Management Services (TIMS) Branch. NASA Headquarters (HQ), Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), and other NASA Centers sponsor and host numerous events throughout the year to disseminate administrative, scientific, and technical information. The principal purpose of this contract is to provide the personnel, services, and all materials necessary to support Agency Conferencing task order events; plan, arrange, coordinate, negotiate, conduct, and close out each task order; create, develop, and maintain attendees' registration information for each event; and provide services for planning of future events. It is anticipated that the subject contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a five-year ordering period. The period of performance will be five years from the anticipated contract award date of on or about October 1, 2020. The Government anticipates a release of the Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) on or about November 13, 2019. This will be an opportunity for potential offerors to provide questions, comments, or any concerns regarding the DRFP and attachments, which includes the statement of work (SOW). No proposal/offer is to be submitted during this posting. The Government anticipates a release date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about January 8, 2020, with an anticipated offer due date on or about February 10, 2020. The Government anticipates award of a resultant contract on or about July 29, 2020. This procurement will be an 8(a) competition. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 561920 and $11M. All responsible sources may submit an offer when applicable, which shall be considered by the agency. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable. The Center Ombudsman for this acquisition can be found at http://prod.nais.nasa.gov/pub/pub_library/Omb.html. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
