- Description
- The U.S. Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ), on behalf of the Combat Capabilities Development Command (CCDC) Armament Center, intends to issue a sole source Request for Proposal (RFP) to SI2 Technologies, Inc. (SI2), 267 Boston Road, Billerica, Massachusetts, 01862 for the Advanced Development, Testing & Integration of Asset Protection & Counter Threat Technologies. This sole source RFP is in accordance with Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 2304(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. As described in FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), when the supplies or services required by the agency are available only from one responsible source, or for DoD, NASA and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided for. The respective Justification and Approval was approved on 17 July 2019. The applicable NAICS for this effort is 541330 and the small business size standard is $15,000,000. The resultant contract period of performance shall be five (5) years. THIS SYNOPSIS DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Further, this synopsis is not a guarantee of a future RFP and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Responses to this synopsis are not considered proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
