Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Corona Divsion (NSWC Corona) intends to utilize a firm-fixed price contract to procure a Doerfer Corporation Autonomouns Precision Positioning Equipment Re-locator (DAPPER) using other than full and open competition procedures. Other sources that have the capability to provide Autonomous Precision Positioning Equipment Re-locators in accordance with the below specifications should submit a brief capabilities statement. In order to meet mission requirements the Autonomous Precision Positioning Equipment Re-locator will be used to accurately position fixtures for large military item. The Autonomous Precision Positioning Equipment Re-locator is the only equipment re-locator of its type capable of positioning 25 ton fixtures to within +/-0.001" of a desired location while providing six degrees of motion (longitudinal, transverse, vertical, pitch, roll, and yaw) which is required during installation. REQUIREMENTS CAPABILITIES: The DAPPER shall be capable of being positioned in six degrees of motion within the following tolerances: a) Longitudinal linear position within ± 0.001" b) Transverse linear position within ± 0.001" c) Vertical linear position within ± 0.001" d) Pitch within ± 0.001" (as measured from each lift cylinder) e) Roll within ± 0.001" (as measured from each lift cylinder) f) Yaw within ± 0.1 degree The DAPPER shall be capable of syncronous positioning during which two DAPPERs can be maneuvered in tandem while holding the positional accuracy. Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package demonstrating ability to perform the requirements listed in the Requirements Capability section to Luke Salazar at luke.salazar@navy.mil no later than 4pm PST on 30 October 2019.
