Defeating capable enemies in the future requires Army maneuver forces to expand the concept of combined arms to include employing capabilities in all five domains - land, air, cyberspace, space, and maritime. Army Futures Command (AFC) seeks government, industry, and academia that are interested in demonstrating focus area solutions that address experiment objectives to inform capability development requirements for Multi-Domain Operations (MDO), Organizational and Operational (O&O) Concepts, and Cross Functional Team (CFT) priorities. Cross-domain maneuver is the employment of mutually supporting lethal and nonlethal capabilities in multiple domains to create a synergistic effect that increases relative combat power and provides Army maneuver forces with the overmatch necessary to destroy or defeat enemy forces. Join our team and experience the Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiments (AEWE) 2021. The Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiments (AEWE) announces opportunities to showcase your innovative technology that will get hands on use by Infantry Soldiers. We are looking for the following technologies: software/hardware, sensors, radios, weapons, ammunition, robotics, optics/scopes, or drones. Learn, identify, and improve your technology concepts through partnership with various Army agencies and personnel. •2. Background. Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiments (AEWE) is the largest Joint Munitions Command (JMC) live prototype assessment that provides an opportunity for industry partners to assist the Army in improving combat capabilities. The purpose of AEWE is to examine enabling capabilities with potential improvements to Future Force capabilities. AEWE is one of four ALE venues executed annually to examine concepts and emerging solutions/technologies to inform capability development efforts by validating concepts and determining their doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leadership and education, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF) impacts. To sustain the deploy, fight, and win Army Mission, the Future Force must assess current equipment shortfalls, and also transform, regenerate, and leverage industry resources. AEWE 2021 will examine new concepts and prototype technologies to enhance Soldier and small unit capabilities. Through AEWE 2021, industry partners can accelerate and reduce cost in prototype development, while also collaborating with Soldiers, engineers, and Army analysts. Intent. The Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCoE) will host Army Expeditionary Warrior Experiments (AEWE) 2021 to examine capabilities and concepts designed to address solutions for cross-domain maneuver at the small tactical unit level (company and below). Timeline. The milestones for AEWE 2021 are outlined below. •a. 22 October - 22 November 2019: Technology Call on Social Media •b. 22 November 2019: Technology submissions due •c. 22 November - 20 December 2019: Technology submissions review •d. O/A 31 January 2020: Technology selections announced •e. April 2020 - February 2021: Assessment Plan Development •f. November 2020 - February 2021: Network Integration and EXFOR Training •g.
