- Statement of Work detailing the no. of people attending the event, how many adults and how many children and their ages. The no. of rooms needed for various purposes and the no. and type of meals requested. This page is the page for the vendor to fill out his quote information on. Description(s): DESCRIPTION: The Utah National Guard has a requirement to host a Yellow Ribbon Event for approximately one thousand and sixty four (1064) attendees, seven hundred sixty four adults, (764) and three hundred (300) children. This event is needs to be held on February 29th, 2020 from approximately 8:00 AM until 4:30 PM not counting setup and takedown time prior to attendees' arrival. The venue will be needed from approximately 6:00 AM until 5:30 PM total time. Some sleeping rooms will also be need on the 28th of February and possibly a few on the 29th, which will be coordinated with Vickie Denovellis. The rooms will be paid for by the individuals utilizing the rooms and not as part quote or the contract. An attachment has been included with this solicitation that outlines the requirements for this event in detail. The Statement of Work (SOW) attached to this solicitation is in the form of an Excel Spreadsheet. The spreadsheet outlines all the requirements needed to be accomplished this event. There is also a quote spreadsheet attachment that needs to be filled out and submitted as you're quote. The attached quote sheet will auto calculate the numbers and provide us with the total amount of your quote as they are filled in on that quote form. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued on any other government point of entry. Solicitation W81A9P92470103 is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items, in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. A single contract will be awarded for this requirement and is subject to availability of funds. This solicitation is issued as an unrestricted procurement in accordance with FAR Part 19.502(b)(1), before setting aside an acquisition under this paragraph when it is reasonable to expect that offers will be obtained from at least two responsible small business concerns offering this product or service. The North American Industry Classifications System Code (NAICS) is 721110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels. Please respond with your quote to Mr. D. SPECIFICATIONS: The USPFO for Utah has a requirement to contract for a Yellow Ribbon Event that requires the use of a conference center or hotel facility to provide meeting space, with food and beverages during the event. The event will be held on the 29th of February, 2020. See the attachments included with this request that further outlines the details of this requirement and includes the quotation sheet to be filled out as well. Awarded party needs provide a person affiliated with and is familiar with the premises / building and can assist our group with any issues that might arise during the event. EVALUATION FACTORS: The contract type for this procurement will be a firm-fixed price and award will be made on the basis of best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The other factors this award will be based on are, the date requested being provided, proximity being from Salt Lake City to Provo Utah and in between, adequate facilities, adequate services, past performance history and price. The Utah National Guard reserves the right to award to other than the lowest price if the lowest quote submitted does not meet all of the required specifications and does not provide the best value to the government.
