Description

Sources Sought Notice for any size business willing and capable of providing 8-seat and 2-seat golf cart rentals for the Dallas Fort Worth National, located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211. Interested vendors should submit capability statement and/or acknowledgement that they are willing and capable of providing the required services described in this announcement to Kenneth.dougherty@va.gov no later than 4:00 pm on 10/21/2019. Description: This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This is a solicitation issued as a source sought notice for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice are due to the Contracting Officer no later than 4:00 pm on 10/21/2019. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information provided nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided for the Government. Offerors are responsible for obtaining any and all amendments or additional information concerning this announcement at https://fbo.gov. Prospective offerors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) website and complete representations and certifications at https://www.sam.gov Technical Requirements: The 8-seat and 2-seat golf cart salient characteristics are listed below: Speed Range: 12 mph Gas Engine: 415 cc Horse Power: 12 hp Steering: self-adjusting rack & pinion Front Suspension: independent leaf springs with dual hydraulic shocks Brakes: 4-wheel mechanical drum Additional Feature: Roof Golf carts will be required to be delivered the day before and picked up the day after the following dates and for the quantities listed: 1. Veterans Day (20) 8-seat carts and (6) 2-seat carts 2. Memorial Day (20) 8-seat carts and (6) 2-seat carts 3. Wreaths Across America (date to be determined) (6) 8-seat carts and (4) 2-seat carts The delivery and pickup time frame is between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm the day before and the day after the dates provided above. Action Required By Interested Offerors in Response to this Sources Sought Notice: Interested Offerors shall provide a Capability Statement clearly demonstrating the company s expertise performing the services & supplies described above as well as a list of recent projects, ongoing or completed, of a similar nature to demonstrate the company s ability to perform such services.
