Description

J&A The Mission & Installation Contracting Command - Fort Knox (MICC-Knox) intends to award on a sole source basis a contract to WCP/Fern Exposition Services LLC (Doing Business as: George Fern Company). Under FAR Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. George Fern Company, is the official convention service contractor and authorized to provide ancillary convention services for the National Future Farmers of America (NFFA) 2019 Convention and Exposition located at the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium, 100 South Capitol Avenue, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46225 on 30 October - 2 November 2019. The US Army Accession Mission Support Battalion's, National Convention Division (NCD) is only an attendee for this event as a requirement in support of US Army Marketing, Education, ROTC Cadet Command, PaYs and Medical Recruiting. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) and a solicitation will not be issued. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition for this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 17 October 2019 at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST), award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
