Description

The VA Medical Center located at West Roxbury, MA has a requirement for proprietary accessories for their Carto 3 Cardiac Electro Anatomical Mapping System. Biosense Webster a division of Johnson & Johnson has been supplying the items required and due to the proprietary nature of these items, a valid sole-source justification exists. VA will negotiate and award a 5-year Blanket Ordering Agreement to this vendor. This is not a solicitation; it is a notice of intent to sole-source announcement advising Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB), and Small Businesses (SB). Any SDVOSB, VOSB, or SB responding to this announcement shall be compliant with the following: In order to be considered under the VA Rule of Two under 38 U.S.C. 8127(d), SDVOSB, VOSB, and SB firms must meet the eligibility requirements in 38 U.S.C. 8127(e), (f) and VAAR 819.7003 and be listed as verified in the Vendor Information Pages (VIP) database at https://www.vip.vetbiz.va.gov/. Interested parties that believe they can satisfy the requirement listed above must clearly identify their capability to do so in writing by Monday, October 21, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. EST time. Responses should be sent to Phillip Crockett at Phillip.crockett@va.gov. Inquiries/ information received after the established deadline shall not be considered. The Government does intend to pay for information solicited. All communications shall be via email; no telephone calls will be accepted.
