Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Turn-key Technologies, Inc. This order will be to provide maintenance, follow-on support and warranty services to the in-house paging (beeper) systems, at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center (VAMC) and Fayetteville Health Care Center (HCC), located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This order requires the Service Technician to have original equipment manufacturers (OEM) training on the Enterprise Access 3000/5000 in-house paging system and 552/852/TTI Ovation Alpha and Speech Code Pagers located at the Fayetteville VAMC and HCC. Contractor must have full and unfettered access to all OEM service publications, diagnostic services and software to provide the required services. Turn-key Technologies Inc. has been identified as the only authorized dealer who can supply this service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all expressions of interest received within three (3) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. Interested contractors may identify their capability to provide the services prescribed within this notice, and should provide sufficient data for the government to determine them as a comparable alternative to the intended source. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition will be under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 13.106-1 (b).
