All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. The VA Maryland HealthCare System (VAMHCS), Perry Point, MD Campus requires Waste Removal Services for the period of 1/1/20 - 12/31/20 plus four (4) one (1) year options. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision necessary to provide collection, storage, removal, transportation, and disposal of regulated medical waste at the Perry Point VA Medical Center and associated CBOCs. Contractor shall be responsible for proposing their own approach and allocating appropriate equipment, packaging supplies, shipping papers and personnel. The contractor shall have appropriate back-up systems in place to ensure at no time the VA facilities are without services. Action plans shall be in place to address any shortfalls in services. NAICS code preferred but limited to 562112 and the size standard is $38.5 M.
