- Description
- The contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, material, transportation and equipment to complete snow removal services for eleven (11) parking lots on Base Cape Cod and thirty (30) interior roads in USCG Housing. These specifications and the accompanying drawing (see SOW attachment) supply pertinent information for accomplishing snow removal for parking lots at Base Cape Cod. These services shall be provided by a licensed professional in accordance with all applicable state and federal regulations. In the event of a major snow fall the contractor may be tasked with assisting USCG personnel with additional USCG parking lots and roads (per hour, per machine). The work under this contract consists of supplying snow removal services for eleven (11) parking lots listed on page six and seven (6 and 7) and thirty (30) interior roads in USCG Housing Area. Pavement, parking lot areas and interior roads requiring snow removal are as indicated on the drawing provided. There will need to be a minimum of two inches of snow on the ground to initiate snow removal operations. The contractor will be notified by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) when services are needed. The Contractor will have 60 minutes or 1 hour to respond and commence work under the contact. No salt, sand, or chemical agents are to be applied by the contractor. *All vendors must be registered in SAM.GOV prior to be awarded the contract as required by the government. *This will be a Base Plus 4 Option Year Contract *Historical data shows that services were requested 85% of the time and will allow efficient amount of work for the contractor
