Description
Program Manager Sensors-Aerial Intelligence (PM SAI), with their stakeholder partners, will be hosting an Industry Day for the High Accuracy Detection Exploitation System (HADES) - Multi-Doman Sensor System (MDSS) program on 01 November 2019, at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. The purpose of this Industry Day is to provide industry partners with information regarding High Accuracy Detection Exploitation System (HADES) requirements, contracting approach, to answer questions from industry, and to receive feedback from industry to assess maturity and performance of the desired sensors. During the course of this Industry Day, the Government will provide information and answers to the best of its ability at this time; however, everything discussed during the Industry Day by the Government is NOTIONAL and is NOT to be considered binding. Everything presented is subject to change or cancellation. This Industry Day is not a request for proposals, is not an authorization to begin work, and does not commit the Government to purchase any supplies or services. The Government will not hear proposals from industry during Industry Day. The briefings provided by the Government and the answers to any questions given during the briefings will be made available to all potential offerors following this Industry Day. The HADES-MDSS Industry Day will be consist of two parts. Classified threat information and the HADES-MDSS Abbreviated Capabilities Development Document will be available in a reading room format from 09:00AM-12:00PM on Friday, 01 November 2019 in a SCIF. The UNCLASSIFIED Industry Day presentation will begin at 1:00PM on Friday, 01 November 2019, with a question and answer panel immediately following the presentation. As part of this Industry Day, PM SAI is soliciting feedback on the following questions: 1. Does industry prefer to integrate their sensors onto their own aircraft, or onto a government owned aircraft? • If government owned, please define the maturity of engineering to support an AWR or alternate Airworthiness Authority for integration of sensor to a government platform. 2. What information, data, and milestones does industry require from the government between now and the 2Q FY21 sensor fly-off in order to be successful? 3. Is the draft HADES A-CDD a feasible / achievable / reasonable set of sensor requirements? • Does industry have any recommended changes to the A-CDD? 4. Please provide a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) for the anticipated costs for the sensor flyoff. Please provide responses to these questions NLT 15NOV2019. Responses shall be limited to 5 pages in total. Unclassified responses may be submitted to Rachel Manley, rachel.d.manley.civ@mail.mil. Classified responses may be submitted to Marc Busala, Marc.Busala@army.ic.gov.
