- Warehouse Performance Work Statement_Draft Department of the Air Force, Air Education and Training Command (AETC), 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112 will issue a solicitation on or about October 25, 2019 for Air University Warehouse Services. Air University Warehouse Services are to be accomplished for the U.S. Air Force (USAF) Air University (AU) Academic Centers on Maxwell Air Force Base(AFB), Alabama. The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to receive, store, assemble/package, mail, and manage the inventory of educational and recruiting materials except for the government furnished property and equipment identified in Paragraph 9 and Appendices J, K, and L, located at the Headquarters Air University's Material Distribution Center (MDC), Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, Alabama as defined in the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). This requirement will be solicited competitively, 100% Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.203(a). The proposed solicitation will be assigned the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 493190 (Other Warehousing and Storage Services, with a size standard of $30,000,000.00. A Firm Fixed-Priced contract with Cost Reimbursement CLINs is contemplated due to the contractor being reimbursed on for Parts and Mailing. This is a competitive best value source selection using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) procedures. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award this contract without discussions. Therefore, the offeror's initial proposal should contain the offeror's best terms from a price standpoint. The offeror's proposal response shall consist of three (3) separate parts; Technical Proposal, Past Performance Information, and Price Proposal. The solicitation is projected to be issued on Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps, https://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation, specifications, plans or bidders mailing list will be issued from this office. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
