- Technology Availability Request for Information (RFI) 1. Introduction The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island hereby issues this Request for Information (RFI) in support of the Army Enterprise Service Desk (AESD). AESD will enable the Army to continue existing AESD Tier 0 and Tier 1 service support operations, optimize service support processes, introduce emerging technologies, and provide AESD as the basis for consolidation of legacy service support as network convergence and technical refresh occurs. 2. Immediate Technology Requirement In supporting AESD, the Government requires Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) services to be delivered as a managed service and hosted in a DoD Provisionally Authorized Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud service offering. The service offering must have the authority to operate at a minimum Impact Level 4 on the Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) network and also operate at a minimum Impact Level 6 on the Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) network having Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) functionality supporting ITSM with integrated Information Technology Asset Management, dynamic asset discovery, and a Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB). The government's objective is to leverage cloud-native services to the greatest extent possible with minimal customization. Service users will be located worldwide. Capability shall require 2000 users for SIPR and 12,000 NIPR users and cover a ticket volume of 1.3 Million tickets annually. 3. Purpose The purpose of this RFI is to obtain industry feedback on the Government's technology requirement. RFI responses are due from Industry by 12:00 Central time on21 October 2019 and should not exceed 5 pages in total. 4. Feedback The Government is seeking Industry input as follows: a. Identify all or parts of the Government's technology requirement above that your organization can currently support as of today. If your organization cannot currently fully support the Government's requirement, please briefly describe your plan and required timeframe for attaining those capabilities necessary in order to fully support the Government's requirement. b. Describe what types of transition planning the Government should do in order to prepare to move to your service offerings. Also identify any specific transition concerns you may have based on your experience moving other organizations to your service offerings. c. Describe the relevant experience, technical skills, business processes, and personnel that your organization would envision using in order to support the Government's requirement. d. Other recommendations - Provide any suggestions or alternative approaches for the Government to consider.
