- Description
- The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Application Contracting Office (TAKO) intends to procure engineering support services to perform Safety of " Flight Qualification Testing" on the Parvus DuraNET 20-11 Ethernet Switch by utilizing a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The proposed source is Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions, 3222 South Washington Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84115. The associated NAICS code is 334513 - Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables. The size standard is 750. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Curtiss-Wright owns the technical data rights for the Ethernet Switches and they are unwilling to sell the technical data package at this time. To replace all of the units would result in substantial duplication of cost and unacceptable delay. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capabilities statements or proposals received within the closing date set in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All interested, capable, and responsible sources that would like to respond to this synopsis are encouraged to provide a statement of interest along with supporting documentation to Latisha S. Blake, Contract Specialist, via email at latisha.s.blake.civ@mail.mil no later than 11:00am EST on Tuesday, 15 October 2019.
