- Sources Sought Notice for Information Only: This Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for a Quote (RFQ). It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Letterkenny Army Depot is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. Negative replies are also sought. Letterkenny Army Depot is seeking information concerning the availability of contractors to provide the part to meet the specifications below for anticipated Period of Performance of a 12-month Base Period. Specifications: Part number equivalent, VF-0633; Husky Run Flat The runflat shall: • Be compatible with a 20x10 rim • Have air channel for Central Tire Inflation System (CTIS) system • Load requirement of 6,000lbs • Compatible with Michelin 14R20 XZL+tire • Capable of sustaining vehicle at 30mph for 30miles Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will determine whether to solicit on a sole source basis, set-aside, or full and open competition. All contractors interested in supplying this service may indicate their interest in this potential acquisition by supplying responses that should include: (1) Identification of company size status, certifications, i.e. 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, small business (2) Proof of experience and capability to manufacture and supply the part listed above along with any literature and/or drawings to determine if the product being suggested meets the technical specifications. In addition, any testing results to show the product is capable of meeting the miles per hour, for the distance specified. (3) Indication of which North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts. For the purposes of the RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336390 - Other Motor Vehicle Parts Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1000. If your firm is capable of the requirements described in this RFI, please provide a Capability Statement to Shaun Leatherman, shaun.r.leatherman.civ@mail.mil and Claudette Lyons, Claudette.r.lyons.civ@mail.mil, by 17 October 2019, 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time.
